When I went on HBC, I wasn't prepared for my journey to come...
After just a few months on it, I felt like I was in a total fog. My mood felt all over the place and I didn’t feel like myself anymore.
But the process coming off of it was even worse than being on it...
When I had quit the pill cold turkey, I didn’t know that there was more than one option. I had no clue that there was a “right” or a “wrong” way - or really, I should say an “easy” and a “hard” way.
I didn’t know that the “hard” way would rob me of the things that made me feel like ME. My self-esteem, my sexual health, a connection to my body, the physical features I had once loved.
I didn’t know that one way of breaking up with HBC would leave me feeling totally lost and I certainly didn’t know that that there was another way that could’ve helped me heal my body from the damage of HBC and make the transition off a totally seamless process.
Aside from the physical symptoms that so many women deal with while on HBC, the most common frustration I hear is, “I feel so disconnected from my body.”

As soon as I start explaining to my clients, how HBC has the potential to impact the body - I see lightbulbs turn on.
